• Sarawak Pay is a mobile application offering a wide range of financial services, an initiative by the Sarawak Government to provide a one-stop mobile app payment channel for the public to make payment for bills or purchases via their mobile phone
  • It includes additional features such as Scan&Pay and payment using e-Wallet.
  • It is operated by SiliconNet Technologies Sdn. Bhd.(SNT)

For security reasons and adhering to Bank Negara compliance, you are only allowed to have one device logged in with your Sarawak Pay account.

If your account is logged into with another device, your original device will be logged out and a notification will be sent to you. If you would like to switch your Sarawak Pay account to your preferred device, please contact our Call Centre for assitance.

  • At the login screen, press the "Forgot Password"
  • Enter your full name, username and NRIC for verification
  • An auto generated password will be sent to you through your email
  • Use the temporary password to login and change your password once you have logged in

 

  • SNT is a subsidiary of SAINS which is wholly owned by the Sarawak Government. SNT operates PaybillsMalaysia, PayBillsSarawak and Sarawak Pay
  • SNT has approval from Bank Negara to operate an electronic wallet within Sarawak Pay

The Sarawak Pay registered Company Merchant owner uses a browser-based merchant service system (https://spayfintech.sarawak.gov.my/ecs/) as an admin to assign or remove user account for their respective outlet staff to access the Sarawak Pay Merchant App.

Sarawak Pay supports payment using e-wallet. To top-up your e-wallet, you will need to log into your internet banking. The banks available are:

Affin Bank, Alliance Bank, AmBank, Bank Islam, Bank Muamalat, Bank Rakyat, Bank Simpanan Nasional, CIMB Clicks, Hong Leong Bank, Kuwait Finance House, Maybank2E, Maybank2U, OCBC Bank, Public Bank, RHB Bank, Standard Chartered, UOB Bank

 

 

  • Go to 'My Account', the second option on the bottom right
  • Select 'Withdrawal'
  • Add your preferred internet banking name and bank account number to perform withdrawal
  • We will process the withdrawal request within 7 business days.
  • Note: A fee of RM1.00 will incur for every withdrawal request

 

If you have not subscribed your bills, go to 'Pay Bill' feature, press the '+' button on the top right, select the bill you want to subscribe and fill in the relevant details.

Note: You might need to refer to your physical bill to obtain account information to subscribe for the bill.

Sarawak Pay Merchant is an app for merchants to conveniently view payment received. Available for download in Google Play and App Store.This APP is meant for internal distribution of Registered Company Merchants of Sarawak Pay and is made exclusive to in-house employees of the Company Merchant only. 

 

Select Fund Transfer in the Sarawak Pay main screen

  • Transfer to your contact in Sarawak Pay or to a Sarawak Pay account by entering the username
  • Per transfer is set at a maximum limit of RM50.00 at the moment
  • The accumulated daily total transfer allowed is RM1,500.00
  • At the moment, monthly limit for fund transfer is RM3,000.00 and yearly limit is RM15,000.00

 

 

There are two ways to add Sarawak Pay accounts to your Friends List.

First method is:

 

  • Select your nickname on the top left of your Sarawak Pay homepage.
  • Select 'My Contacts'
  • Press the '+' sign on the top right.
  • You may search your friend's Sarawak Pay account username or scan to add friend.

 

Second method is:

 

  • Select 'Name Card' on the top right of your Sarawak Pay homepage.
  • Your QR code will be shown.
  • Ask your friend to scan your QR code to add you

 

  • Apart from PaymentGalaxyWallet,  Sarawak Pay also allows users to use Internet Banking or Credit Cards for payment

There are a few ways on how you can get started as a Sarawak Pay Merchant.

First way is you may sign up as a merchant through the Sarawak Pay App. Go to Merchant Account and register your business. Upon a successful registration, you will instantly receive your Merchant QR Code and the option to set your price. Second way is you may click on the link at the Homepage that will redirect you to an Online Form. Fill in the Online Form in full and we will follow up.

  • Download the Sarawak Pay app from Google playstore or Apple appstore
  • Launch the mobile app, then register as a NEW user
    • Complete the Registration form
    • An OTP will be sent to your hand phone.
    • To complete your registration you need to key in the 6 digits verification code. Upon successful registration, a Sarawak Pay account will be created.

This Sarawak Pay Merchant App is meant for Registered Company Merchant to allow outlet staff to view confirmation of payment from customers using Sarawak Pay App (on a mobile device).

  • You can scan the QR Code on the bills or at the outlet and pay using your e-wallet.
  • This feature will be available for newly issued SESCO, KWB and Local Council Assessment bills, and at the various outlets at Riverside Majestic Hotel and Grand Margherita Hotel

  • PaymentGalaxyWallet is an Internet-based electronic wallet (the Service), established, operated, maintained and owned by SiliconNet Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (SiliconNet)
  • PaymentGalaxyWallet is powered by PaymentGalaxy® Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment Engine

Malaysia 

  • Go to 'My Account', the third option on the bottom right
  • Select Top-Up
  • Key in the amount you want to top-up
  • Select your preferred internet banking; you will be directed to the bank website
  • Note: Minimum top-up is RM30.00. Maximum top-up is RM3000.

 

Sarawak Pay Merchant APP is free for download. Just create an account in merchant management system and login with the user name name and password sent by sms.

  • Users can pay bills including SESCo, all the 4 water utilities (KWB, SWB, LAKU & JBALB), all Sarawak councils (for payment of assessment bills).
  • Sarawak Pay can be used to purchase products or services at our participating merchants.

We need to verify that the merchant business registration owner details submitted are correct and complete together with the registered owner bank account number. Once successfully verified, your merchant account will be activated and an email will be sent to notify you.
If you can view your QR Code in Merchant Account, you may start accepting payments using Sarawak Pay.

i) NRIC photo submitted must be clear and match with owner name and NRIC entered

ii) The Bank Account No. entered must be a personal bank account and belongs to the Bank Holder Name  

 

Yes, Sarawak Pay registration is FREE. No fees or any costs shall be charged or collected by the agent or agencies. Please report to 1-300-88-7722 if solicited by person not authorized by Sarawak Pay.

 

Personal Business Registration – If you are running your own business and the proceeds goes to your own personal bank account, you can opt for online Personal Business Registration through Sarawak Pay App.

 

Companies’/organization/association registration – If the business is operating as a SSM registered company and the proceeds goes to the registered company bank account, use the Sarawak Pay Merchant Application Form to apply. You may engage any of our authorized agents to assist with your application.  Please refer to our Sarawak Pay website www.sarawakpay.gov.my for our latest merchant application form and our authorized agents. 

 

If you are a verifed Sarawak Pay personal merchant, this is how you print your merchant QR Code:

Step 1: Go to Merchant Account and tap “Download QR Code”. The merchant QR Code will be saved in your phone’s photo gallery.

Note: Only merchant account that has been verified and activated will be enabled to display the QR Code.

Step 2: Send your merchant QR Code via email and download it to your computer.

Step 3: Go to http://bit.ly/SarawakPayMerchant to download QR Code Template (Be A Merchant >Personal Business Registration > Step 6). Ai Files or Jpeg are available to download. Follow the visual guide on where to place your merchant QR Code on the template and add in your business name. 

Step 4: Done! You can print and display your merchant QR Code to receive payment!

There are two ways to sign up as a merchant, depending on your business nature:-

The money in your Merchant account will be transferred to your business bank account the next working day.

Due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. no Internet connectivity or interruption to bank transfer service, there may be a delay in settlement. Otherwise, standard settlement period is next working day.

Follow the steps below to perform Fund Transfer:

i. From the Sarawak Pay main screen,  select "Fund Transfer"

ii. Transfer to your contact in Sarawak Pay or to a Sarawak Pay account by entering the username.

iii. Enter the amount you want to transfer

iv. Add in "Remark" for future reference (optional)

v. Press "Confirm" to transfer fund successfully

Premium Wallet Users: 

i. The transfer limit per transaction is RM200

ii. The accumulated daily transfer limit is RM200

iii.The monthly transfer limit is RM200

 


Basic Wallet Users:  

i.  The transfer limit per transaction is RM200

ii. The accumulated daily transfer limit is RM200

Fund transfer feature is used for sending electronic money to another Sarawak Pay user.

 

 

 


To find out your Sarawak Pay username, follow the steps below:


Step 1: On Sarawak Pay main screen, tap on the profile icon on the top left.

Step 2: Select " Personal Info"

Step 3: Find out your Sarawak Pay username under "Username"

 

 

Please ensure that your phone’s operating system is up-to-date, Sarawak Pay supports iOS8.0 or Android V5.5 and above.

You can download Sarawak Pay for free directly from the App Store or Google Play Store. 

All Malaysian and non - Malaysian are welcomed to use SARAWAK PAY.

You can use Sarawak Pay to: -

i. Pay for products and services by using the Scan and Pay function on QR code placed at Sarawak Pay participating merchants.

ii. Pay utility bills, assessment bills and more by subscription at Sarawak Pay APP or scan the QR code on the bill.

iii. Transfer money to contacts or other Sarawak Pay user account.

iv. Withdraw money from Sarawak Pay eWallet into your bank account.

v. Split-bill among other Sarawak Pay users

Sarawak Pay is FREE.

You can update your mobile number in Sarawak ID website. Follow steps below:

Step 1: Log in your Sarawak ID account at https://sarawakid.sarawak.gov.my  /web/ssov1/login/

Step 2: Under Profile, click “Mobile Phone”

Step 3: Update your mobile number under “New Phone Number”

 

Follow the steps below to retrieve your Sarawak ID

Step 1 : Go to https://sarawakid.sarawak.gov.my/web/ssov1/login/

Step 2: Click forgot Sarawak ID or Password

Step 3: Key in your IC and complete the details

 

Launch the Sarawak Pay app, select New User Registration.

i. Choose your nationality

ii. Complete registration form

iii.  A verification code will be sent to your mobile phone.

To complete your registration, you need to key in the 6 digits’ verification code received. Upon successful registration, a Sarawak Pay account will be created.

 

It could be because you have registered for other Sarawak e-government services such as

e-booking/e-recruitment before. You can proceed to log in with your existing Sarawak ID username and password.

 


If you do not have a bank account, you can approach any Ejen Bank BSN to perform a top up to your e-Wallet. This is how you do it:

From BSN Point of Sales Terminal

Step 1: Enter your mobile number

Step 2: Enter your top up amount

Minimum per top up amount is RM30. Your top up amount plus any current wallet balance must not exceed the allowed wallet limit as follow:

 

Basic Wallet : Maximum RM200

Premium Wallet : Maximum RM3,000

 

How do I top up with Credit Card?

For credit/debit card top up:

Step 1: Select “Credit/Debit Card”

Step 2: Enter your top up amount

Step 3: Enter your card number, expiry date and CVV

Step 5: You will receive an OTP from your card issuing bank to verify the transaction

Step 6: Key in your OTP to complete the transaction.

 

Note:
1. A charge from SiliconNet Technologies Sdn Bhd (operator of Sarawak Pay) will appear on your credit card statement.
2. A 2% non-refundable convenience fee will be charged for every top-up request using credit card. 

Update: Effective 17.12.2019, the convenience fee is waived until further notice.
